Qualifications

• Strong grasp of tractors, their specs, applications and market landscape.
• Experience building new markets from scratch, entry strategies, and channel development.
• Deep understanding of Malaysian agricultural market, growers and channel dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Define overall marketing strategy and channel layout for Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall marketing strategy and channel layout of the Malaysian market
• Explore new distributor channels, establish and improve the sales network
• Be responsible for the development and maintenance of key customers and partners
• Collect market information, analyze the dynamics of competing brands, and formulate market expansion strategies
• Lead the team to achieve sales targets and market development tasks
• Coordinate business communication between the Chinese headquarters and the Malaysian market
• Monitor the dynamics of competitors and regional market changes, and promptly adjust market expansion strategies to seize the initiative
• Regularly produce market analysis reports and report the progress of market expansion and the next action plan to the management

About you

• Over 10 years of experience in the agricultural machinery industry, with at least 5 years of experience in market management or equivalent senior management positions
• Proficient in the technical characteristics, application scenarios, and market competition landscape of tractors
• Familiar with the suitability and application of tractors of different horsepower ranges in major crop cultivation in Malaysia
• Possessing mature experience in developing new markets from scratch, skilled in formulating market entry strategies, establishing channel systems, and promoting the brand to take root in unfamiliar markets
• Thoroughly understanding the dynamics of the Malaysian agricultural market, regional planting characteristics, channel structure, and customer purchasing behavior
• Bachelor's degree or above in marketing, business administration, agricultural engineering or related fields, MBA preferred
• Fluent in English or Chinese
