Job summary

UpGrowth HR Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to build, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for Marketing, Sales, HR, and Operations.

You will perform data modeling, cleaning, and transformation from sources such as Google Sheets, Excel, and SQL databases, and use Python to automate workflows and forecasting. Strong communication with stakeholders and a detail‑oriented, business‑driven mindset are essential to drive data‑driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data-related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as data analyst or similar role.
• Proficient in Power BI and/or Python for analysis and reporting.
• Strong SQL querying skills and relational databases.
• Experience in building and managing KPI dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills with non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI for Marketing, Sales, HR, Ops.
• Model, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (Google Sheets, Excel, SQL databases).
• Use Python (Pandas, NumPy) to automate workflows, analyses, and forecasting models.
• Provide deep-dive analyses and trends to support business decisions and campaigns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across platforms.
• Identify performance gaps and optimization opportunities from internal data.
• Support transition to data-centric operations and train team members as needed.
