ILift Personal Training is looking for a Marketing Assistant / Content Creator to help us create, edit, and manage social media content for our growing personal training brand in Kuching.

This role is mainly focused on video editing, shooting, photography, and social media management. You will help us create content that educates, builds trust, attracts the right clients, and shows people that personal training is not just about looking fit - it is about moving better, ageing well, and staying independent for life.

What You'll Be Doing

Your main role is to support the content and social media side of ILift.

You will be responsible for:

Shooting short videos and photos for social media

Editing Reels, TikToks, Facebook videos, and ad creatives

Posting and managing content across our social media platforms

Helping plan content ideas, hooks, captions, and simple campaigns

Helping the founder build his personal brand through content

Creating and running basic social media ads

Assisting with posters, carousel posts, and simple graphic designs

Capturing client stories, training moments, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content

Making sure our content feels warm, professional, trustworthy, and aligned with the ILift brand

Most of your work will be related to content creation, video editing, social media, and digital marketing.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is creative, responsible, and willing to improve.

You do not need to be perfect from day one, but you must be able to follow instructions, take feedback, and learn how to create content that matches our brand.

You should be someone who:

Enjoys creating videos, photos, and social media content

Has basic video editing skills

Understands social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook

Can write simple captions and content ideas

Has a good eye for clean and professional visuals

Is organized, responsive, and detail-oriented

Is willing to learn about branding, advertising, and content strategy

Can work independently after clear direction is given

Bonus if you have experience with:

CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools

Shooting content with a phone or camera

Editing short-form videos

Managing social media pages

Creating posters or carousel designs

Running Meta ads or boosting posts

Requirements

Must have your own laptop

Must have your own transport

Basic video editing skills required

Basic photography or videography skills preferred

Good written English is preferred

Able to work on-site in Kuching

Responsible, punctual, and responsive

Camera and editing tools will be provided when needed.
