Job summary

HP in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate machinery and assembly equipment for direct assembly and support factory processes. The role includes data collection, analysis and interpretation of documents to improve manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent experience, 1–2 years related experience.
• Basic knowledge in electromechanical technology.
• Preferably experience in manufacturing systems and equipment maintenance, machine operation, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery for direct assembly and support factory equipment.
• Gather and assess data about the manufacturing process and equipment; interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per schematics or manuals.
• Manage documentation for manufacturing processes and ensure updates in manufacturing systems.
• Provide hands-on assistance to resolve technical quality issues related to customer complaints and equipment.
