Job summary

Lam Research Malaysia is seeking a Technical Instructor to deliver Lam’s Manufacturing Academy curriculum to our manufacturing team. You will conduct instructor-led sessions, combine hands-on training with coaching, and apply the ADDIE model to create and refresh training content.

You will measure student progress, collect KPIs, and collaborate with engineering and floor teams to enhance safety, quality and skills across equipment maintenance and operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in technical training or manufacturing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led classroom instruction with hands-on training and coaching.
• Apply ADDIE model for new and refreshed training content and job aids.
• Iterate on curriculum and support instructional designers and SMEs.
• Measure and document student progress.
• Gather KPIs to inform improvements to curricular materials.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to identify training enhancements for safety, quality and skills growth.
• Interact with stakeholders to assess training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
