Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Malaysia is expanding its Penang manufacturing operations and inviting applicants to join a safety‑conscious team.

You will perform processes per documented standards, stay certified, maintain 5S, and support Lean manufacturing with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Successful candidates should have a minimum SPM qualification, basic computer skills, and the ability to work with glue volatilization and bonding equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of glue volatilization and glue mixing environment requirements.
• Familiar with coupling, welding or soldering equipment.
• Communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Perform operations per documented procedures and must be certified.
• Highlight quality issues to Line Leader or Supervisor.
• Follow ESD and Cleanroom procedures.
• Maintain 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Adhere to ISO requirements and company policies.
• Meet daily targets.
