Job summary

Renesas Electronics (Malaysia) is seeking a Warehouse & Shipping Officer to coordinate daily warehouse and shipping operations, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, documentation and timely delivery of materials and finished goods. You will work with internal departments and external partners, maintain SOPs and safety compliance, and help improve inventory accuracy and shipping documentation.

This role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience and a Diploma in a related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant warehouse/shipping/logistics/inventory experience.
• Understanding of warehouse and shipping processes: receiving, storage, picking, packing, delivery.
• Ability to prepare and verify shipping/warehouse documents accurately.
• Basic MS Office knowledge, especially Excel.
• Good communication and coordination with internal departments, suppliers, forwarders and transporters.
• Attention to detail; follow SOPs, safety requirements and company procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage routine tasks within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate local and international shipments with forwarders and transporters.
• Prepare and verify shipping docs, delivery orders, invoices and packing lists.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and conduct stock checks.
• Ensure proper identification, segregation and storage of materials.
• Track shipment status and follow up on delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Customs, Logistics, Purchasing, Production and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety requirements and company procedures.
• Investigate discrepancies in inventory, shipments or docs and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate warehouse and shipping records for traceability and audits.

Qualifications

Must Have

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in warehouse, shipping, logistics, or inventory operations.
• Basic understanding of warehouse and shipping processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and delivery.
• Able to prepare and verify shipping/warehouse documents accurately.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with internal departments, suppliers, forwarders, and transporters.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Able to work independently and manage routine tasks within agreed timelines.

Good to Have:

• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP or inventory management systems.
• Basic knowledge of import/export and Customs documentation.
• Experience coordinating with freight forwarders and transportation providers.
• Knowledge of inventory control and stock reconciliation.
• Familiarity with ISO, EHS, or warehouse safety requirements.
• Experience handling sensitive, fragile, or high-value equipment/materials.
• Basic knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping procedures
