Job summary

ICHOR Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a QC Manager to lead quality control across the Unity (MYU) manufacturing operations, including machining, EP, and valve assembly. The role ensures products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements through in-process and final inspection controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/related field and relevant manufacturing quality experience.
• 8+ years in Quality Control within manufacturing, with 3+ years in supervision.
• Experience in precision machining, EP, valve assembly or similar is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of QC principles, inspection methods, GD&T, and process controls.
• Familiar with 8D, 5 Whys, RCA, FMEA, SPC, CAPA and related quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily quality control activities across machining, EP, and valve assembly.
• Ensure incoming, in-process, and final inspection align with plans and customer requirements.
• Apply sampling plans and acceptance criteria consistently.
• Monitor quality performance and promptly disposition non-conforming products.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement containment and CAPA actions.
• Drive scrap reduction, COPQ, and continuous quality improvements.
• Serve as primary customer contact for quality issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Support NPI, engineering changes, process validation, and production trials.
