Job summary

Job description
Manufacturing/Production / Quality / Maintenance Technician / Engineer

Operate, set up, monitor, and optimize production machines (extrusion, insulation, assembly, harnessing) according to SOPs.

Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines to reduce downtime.

Handle material preparation, replenishment, and traceability (cable cores, insulation, shielding, connectors).

Record production data: output, machine parameters, downtime, rejects/defects; report abnormalities or deviations.

Support line changeover, tooling setup, cleaning, housekeeping, 5S, and safety compliance.

Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation as required.

Production / Manufacturing
  • Operate, set up, monitor, and optimize production machines (extrusion, insulation, assembly, harnessing) according to SOPs.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines to reduce downtime.
  • Handle material preparation, replenishment, and traceability (cable cores, insulation, shielding, connectors).

Maintenance / Equipment
  • Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of production machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in machine installation, commissioning, calibration, and upgrades.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, spare‑part inventory, and ensure tools and machines are in good working condition.
Quality / Compliance
  • Perform in‑process, incoming, and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications (dimensions, insulation, continuity, shielding, labeling).
  • Use measurement and testing tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, testers) and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify non‑conforming products; escalate and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Support internal audits, documentation, and compliance with ISO9001, ISO 13485 / medical‑device standards.
  • Lead or participate in root‑cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross‑Functional / Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve processes, reduce defects, and enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing Lean, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Education / Qualifications
  • SPM / Vocational / Technical Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronic, Industrial, Engineering or related fields.
