Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an engineering professional to support production and implement manufacturing workflows and systems. The role involves sustaining and improving yield, quality, and cycle times, with emphasis on aligning processes to customer requirements and maintaining up-to-date work instructions.

Applicants should hold a relevant engineering degree or diploma with 2+ years of experience, and be proficient in MS Office, PFMEA, DFM, SPC, ECN, Kaizen and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or Diploma holder with 2 years' experience or above will be considered.
• Knowledge in Box Build and Packing processes
• Analytical thinker with good communication and analytical skills
• Team player with good interpersonal, strong coordination and organization skills
• Knowledge of process related standards
• Familiar with MSOFFICE
• Have knowledge in PFMEA, DFM, PMP, SPC, ECN, Kaizen, 5S
• Fresh graduates with a relevant degree are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to production to sustain and improve production yield, quality and process cycle time
• Ensure the manufacturing process requirements are derived from customer requirements on product performance are being expedited
• Prepare and ensure process work instructions are available and updated
• Ensure production follow step as per work instruction given
• Develop and maintain process documentation
• Liaise with Customer Service on product-related issues (Customer Complaint)
• Participate in any special projects/programs as & when assigned by the Company
• Assist Engineer create training material and conduct training to technician
