Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer (Quality - Process) to optimize production and ensure quality compliance. You will collaborate with QC, drive CAPA, and maintain process instructions while supporting NPI and cross-functional initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in engineering with 2–3 years in manufacturing quality, and has hands-on problem-solving, Lean/Six Sigma exposure, and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years in manufacturing or quality engineering, preferably in precision components/plastics.
• Knowledge of QC tools and ISO/IATF quality standards.
• Hands-on problem-solving and process improvement skills (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Good communication, analytical and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with QC to analyze defects and implement CAPA.
• Develop and maintain process control plans, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Support NPI and smooth transition to mass production.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor production metrics to reduce downtime, scrap and rework.
• Ensure adherence to ISO/TS and regulatory requirements.
