Job summary

Insulet Malaysia is seeking a Process Engineer focused on manufacturing process improvement. You will drive yield enhancements, HC efficiency, validation implementations, and SOP standardization in collaboration with multiple departments to build a world-class manufacturing plant.

The role emphasizes reliability engineering, SOPs, hands-on action, and operational scorecards, with opportunities to influence cross-functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in process or manufacturing engineering
• Knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean manufacturing and statistical analysis
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing and cleanroom environment
• Data-driven decision-making and results orientation
• Multi-language fluency (English, Malay)

Responsibilities

• Support validation for NPIs and process changes on the production line
• Consolidate process data and perform result analysis with recommendations
• Conduct DMAIC for continuous product quality improvement and scrap reduction
• Standardize machine-to-machine process analysis to optimize performance
• Certify operators to meet TPM and competence requirements
• Review material flow and MES usage to improve production efficiency
• Create and review manufacturing scorecards and dashboards with production teams
• Create or update work instructions for production teams
• Collaborate in cross-functional groups to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions
• Monitor production issues on a 24/7 basis as needed
• Undertake other duties as required
