Job summary

Quantum Total Packages Sdn Bhd is seeking a production scheduling coordinator to monitor and manage schedules, optimise workflow, and track production metrics. The role involves liaising with planning, production, and safety teams to ensure alignment and timely output.

Responsibilities include preparing routine production reports, forecasting requirements, training staff, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and boost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders
• Coordinate with production teams to optimise workflow and maximise efficiency on the production floor
• Track production metrics and maintain accurate records of output, downtime and quality issues
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve performance
• Liaise between production, planning and scheduling departments to ensure alignment of priorities
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports for senior management
• Support the planning team in forecasting production requirements and resource allocation
• Assist in training and supervising production staff on processes and procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage
