Job summary

Celestica, Inc. is seeking an Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment to support the development and sourcing of manufacturing equipment. The role involves design, qualification, deployment to production, and ongoing optimization to meet manufacturing goals.

Under supervision, you will assist in automation solutions, support hardware/software upgrades, and analyze OEE to drive improvements across Celestica programs and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Entry level to 1 year of experience in engineering/manufacturing settings.
• Fosters development and deployment of automation and manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing standard automation solutions and equipment upgrades.
• Analyze Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and related data to support improvements.
• Assist programming, qualification, deployment, optimization and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Perform maintenance activities under supervision as part of equipment care.
• Support customer product road map using Celestica processes and tools for automation.
