Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN MINDE GROUP SDN. BHD. in Johor is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering function, drive improvements in equipment reliability, processes and projects.

This hands‑on leadership role combines technical engineering, equipment performance, project management and team development. The successful candidate will work with Production, Maintenance and Quality to reduce downtime and enhance efficiency, while guiding senior engineers and assistants on major

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant engineering experience.
• 2–3 years in supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Strong manufacturing engineering background.
• Experience in equipment reliability and maintenance.
• Proven project management and engineering Budgets experience.
• Knowledge of GMP/ISO or regulated manufacturing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering team with KPIs and objectives.
• Oversee reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with Production and Maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Improve maintenance strategies for equipment reliability and life.
• Drive engineering projects from design to installation and handover.
• Manage budgets, schedules, contractors, suppliers, and resources.
• Lead equipment installation, upgrades and relocation activities.
• Identify opportunities for productivity, capacity and process optimization.
• Evaluate new equipment and automation opportunities.
• Support equipment qualification, testing and commissioning.
• Support new products and manufacturing scale-up.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ISO, GMP and environmental requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma and SPC.
• Prepare CAPEX and OPEX budgets for the department.
