Job summary

EUROPE MNC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Industrial/Heavy Equipment) to provide daily engineering support for production, troubleshoot issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You will manage BOM updates, implement ECNs, and interpret complex drawings to guide tooling and fixtures development.

Collaboration across Quality, Supply Chain and Product Engineering is essential for ramp-ups and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on manufacturing/industrial production experience.
• Heavy equipment assembly experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong manufacturing engineering and production troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with tooling, fixtures, jigs and manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of BOM management and Engineering Change Management / ECN.
• Able to interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience working with cross-functional manufacturing teams.
• Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily engineering support to production and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions and production escalations.
• Manage BOM updates and support Engineering Change Notices (ECN) implementation.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation for production.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing fixtures, jigs, tooling and equipment.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work procedures and production readiness.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Product Engineering teams.
• Drive capacity, productivity, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure manufacturing activities meet required safety and quality standards.
