Job summary

Foxar Athon is seeking a UX Researcher to turn conversations, observations and data into clear insights that guide strategy, content and design. The role requires Mandarin fluency and entails planning, executing interviews, surveys and usability tests across client projects.

You will analyse websites, analytics and customer feedback, map journeys, and present findings to strategists, copywriters, designers and developers. Collaborating with strategy and product teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative UX research methods.
• Experience conducting interviews, surveys, usability testing or customer research.
• Ability to develop research plans, interview guides and testing scripts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify meaningful patterns across different sources.
• Clear report writing, documentation and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with journey mapping, personas, information architecture and usability principles.
• Comfortable working with Figma, FigJam, Miro or similar research and collaboration tools.
• Basic familiarity with website analytics, heatmaps or behavioural data is an advantage.
• Experience researching B2B, professional services or complex decision journeys is an advantage.
• Experience using AI‑assisted research and synthesis tools responsibly is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand each client's business model, audience and objectives.
• Plan research activities with clear questions, profiles and methods.
• Conduct stakeholder and user interviews, discovery sessions, surveys and usability tests.
• Analyse behavioural data, analytics and customer feedback to uncover insights.
• Map user journeys and identify pain points and information needs.
• Synthesize findings into themes and prioritised recommendations.
• Translate research into outputs like personas, journey maps and reports.
• Present findings clearly to clients and internal teams.
• Maintain organised research documentation and consent records.
