Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to manage full sets of accounts, AR/AP, and regulatory reporting from our Malaysia office in Selangor. The role requires 2-3 years of relevant experience and a degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in MYOB and Microsoft Excel, able to meet tight deadlines, and work well in a team; Mandarin language skills are essential for communicating with Hong Kong/China stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Language: Must be able to read, write, and speak Mandarin natively to communicate with Hong Kong/China stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.
• Experience: 2–3 years in a similar accounting role; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in MYOB and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full set of monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank statements.
• AR: Issue invoices and monitor payments; manage collections.
• AP: Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and petty cash reimbursements.
• Compliance & Reporting: Assist with statutory audit, tax filing (GST/SST), and regulatory submissions.
