LanguageBridge Solutions is seeking US-based bilingual Mandarin and English speakers for a remote medical interpreter role. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED—we will train you with a free 2-week program, followed by a language assessment for potential employment as over-the-phone interpreters.

You will serve as a bridge between Mandarin-speaking patients and healthcare providers, handling medical terminology and procedures with confidentiality and care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language (Mandarin).
• Speak Mandarin as your mother or main language.
• Speak English in a C1 or higher level.
• Strong emotional intelligence and a deep respect for diverse cultures.
• High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
• Strong ethical principles and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls in a professional manner.
• Customer service skills.
• Be always prepared to take notes during a call.
• Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).
• Participate in a in-house professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
• Provide accurate and impartial interpretation services during medical consultations, medical terminology, procedures, instructions, information between Mandarin-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals and other healthcare interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all patient interactions.
• Participate in workshops and coaching opportunities to enhance your interpreting skills.

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED WE WILL TRAIN YOU! We are looking for US Based professional bilingual Mandarin and English speakers that are passionate about languages and helping others, people that would like to become medical interpreters and want to join an international company. Our FREE 2 week training will help you and give you all you need to start a career as a medical interpreter, after the 2 week training a Language Assessment test will be taken and those who pass the test will have a chance to apply for a job with us an over-the-Phone (OPI) medical Interpreters at LanguageBridge Solutions. You will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication between Mandarin-speaking patients and healthcare providers. In this rewarding position, you will serve as a bridge, facilitating understanding and enabling patients to receive the care they need.
