Job summary

Carlsberg Malaysia is seeking a strategic and passionate Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead our talent attraction efforts and build a strong pipeline of future-ready talent. You will drive recruitment strategies, oversee end-to-end hiring, strengthen our employer brand, and partner with business leaders to support workforce planning and growth.

You will lead the Talent Acquisition team, drive employer branding across digital channels, and develop internship and graduate programmes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology or related field.
• 7–10 years in Talent Acquisition, including leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing methods, and TA technologies.
• Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion; English proficiency.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce planning needs.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and People & Culture stakeholders to understand talent requirements and provide consultative recruitment support.
• Lead and oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring efficient, high-quality hiring across all functions.
• Manage, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition team to build capabilities and drive performance excellence.
• Drive employer branding and talent attraction initiatives across digital channels, career events, and strategic partnerships.
• Strengthen relationships with universities, professional bodies, and external talent networks to build diverse talent pipelines.
• Lead recruitment analytics and reporting by tracking key hiring metrics and providing insights to support business decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing recruitment processes, candidate experience, and system adoption.
• Provide strategic direction for internship, apprenticeship, graduate, and graduate trainee programmes.
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policies, governance requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned to support business and People & Culture objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, including experience leading and developing a team.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing methodologies, and talent acquisition technologies.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Passionate about building diverse and inclusive teams.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
