Job summary

Heineken is seeking a Supply Planning Manager in Malaysia to translate demand into executable 18‑month plans for capacity, materials, and imports. You will lead cross‑functional collaboration across Production, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Global teams to optimize inventory, mitigate risks, and ensure on‑time supply.

You will drive planning data accuracy, develop scenarios for S&OP, and push continuous improvement using TPM methodologies, balancing demand with capacity and resources.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in supply planning or production planning within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of material planning, capacity planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and supply risk management.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Translate demand forecasts into 18‑month rolling supply, capacity, material and import plans.
• Develop daily and weekly production schedules across lines to balance demand and capacity.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, ageing, and obsolescence.
• Optimize safety stock and inventory strategies to ensure continuity and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Global teams for OTIF reporting and data integrity.

Job description

Function:Supply Chain

As our Supply Planning Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring we have the right products, materials, and production capacity at the right time. You will lead end-to-end supply planning across production capacity, materials, and imported beer, translating demand into executable plans that support business growth and ensure uninterrupted supply.

Working closely with Brewing, Packaging, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Global teams, you will proactively manage supply risks, optimize inventory and capacity, and drive continuous improvement across our planning processes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end supply planning by translating demand forecasts into realistic 18-month rolling supply, capacity, material, and import plans.
• Manage short- to medium-term production planning across production lines, developing daily and weekly schedules that balance demand, capacity, resources, and operational requirements.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks by proactively managing capacity constraints, material availability, shortages, excess, ageing, and obsolete inventory.
• Optimize safety stock and inventory strategies to ensure supply continuity while minimizing waste and inventory write-offs.
• Develop supply planning scenarios for the S&OP process, assessing the impact on volume, capacity, service levels, risks, and costs to support business decisions.
• Drive planning data and systems excellence, ensuring master data and planning parameters are accurate and up to date, while maximizing the use of planning systems such as Core and FuturMaster.
• Coordinate material forecasting and reporting, partnering with Procurement and Global teams to ensure accurate and OTIF submissions through Anaplan.
• Drive continuous improvement to strengthen planning robustness, responsiveness, visibility, and supply chain performance, leveraging TPM methodologies and best practices.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure seamless execution from planning through to production and supply.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Food Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in supply planning, material planning, production planning, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of material planning, capacity planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and supply risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and business decisions.
• Good understanding of lead times, inventory principles, and supply chain risk mitigation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Core, FuturMaster, Anaplan, or other supply planning systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
