Responsabilidades

• Translate strategic direction into actionable business improvement plans.
• Develop and lead the annual Business Excellence and Operational Transformation roadmap.
• Establish and lead a structured continuous improvement framework across manufacturing and supporting functions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, waste elimination, root-cause analysis and process optimisation initiatives.
• Lead initiatives to reduce manufacturing costs and improve cost competitiveness.
• Establish a company-wide performance monitoring framework aligned with strategic objectives and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain management dashboards, performance scorecards and analytical reports.
• Establish a structured project governance framework covering project selection, prioritisation, planning, implementation and closure.
• Collaborate with HR and HODs to strengthen performance accountability and cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, water consumption, material utilisation and waste management.

Manager - Strategic Initiatives & Operational Excellence

Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and business improvement projects that enhance manufacturing operation, driving cost optimization, quality consistency, Human capital development, ESG compliance, Safety compliance, operational performance, process efficiency and organisational effectiveness. Act as a strategic partner to senior management and department heads, providing data-driven insights, facilitating improvement projects and ensuring that initiatives deliver sustainable business value aligned with the Company's strategic direction. The role is responsible for establishing a structured performance management framework, identifying operational inefficiencies, improving cost competitiveness, optimising resource utilisation, strengthening cross-functional collaboration and embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the Company's strategic direction into actionable business improvement plans, programmes and measurable outcomes
• Develop and lead the annual Business Excellence and Operational Transformation roadmap in alignment with the Company's business objectives
• Establish and lead a structured continuous improvement framework across manufacturing and supporting functions
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, waste elimination, root-cause analysis and process optimisation initiatives
• Lead initiatives to reduce manufacturing costs and improve cost competitiveness
• Establish a company-wide performance monitoring framework aligned with strategic objectives and departmental KPIs
• Develop and maintain management dashboards, performance scorecards and analytical reports

About you

• Capability to translate strategic direction into actionable business improvement plans
• Experience in establishing and leading continuous improvement frameworks
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and process optimisation methodologies
• Ability to analyse cost drivers and develop cost-reduction programmes
• Experience with performance management frameworks and KPI development
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI or other analytical tools for data-driven decision-making
• Experience in project governance, project management and change management
• Capability to identify and assess automation and digitalisation opportunities
• Understanding of safety, environmental and compliance considerations in business improvement
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
