B. Braun Medical is seeking a Manager - Project Management in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia. You will lead complex projects in a regulated manufacturing environment and drive continuous improvement across administrative functions with a focus on on-time delivery.

This senior role requires strong cross-functional leadership, end-to-end project management, budget and risk control, and effective stakeholder engagement across multiple sites in Asia Pacific.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in project or program management in manufacturing or regulated industries.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field; PMI/PRINCE2/Lean preferred.
End-to-end project management with cross-functional, multi-site projects.
Experience with schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholder management.
Experience in global/matrix organizations with indirect reporting.
Exposure to medical devices or regulated environments (ISO, MDR, FDA) preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage moderate to complex projects in administrative functions and process improvement.
Lead APAC continuous improvement initiatives.
Organize project teams, assign tasks, develop schedules, and allocate resources.
Maintain detailed project schedules from initiation to delivery and report deviations.
Monitor project status: cost, timing and staffing.
Provide project management training as needed.
Ensure on-time delivery of improvement projects.

Your key responsibilities:

Responsible for management, performance and completion of moderate to complex projects in administrative functions,including continuous process improvement projects.
Helps to implement the Continuous Improvement process in administrative functions and operational excellence
methods in the Asia Pacific region.
Organize project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules and determines resources needed.
Ensures completion of detailed schedules for projects from initiation to delivery and keeps management informed of any
deviations.
Monitors status of projects including cost, timing and staffing.
May be required to provide Project Management Training from time to time.
Provides stewardship to the project teams to ensure success and on-time delivery of continuous improvement projects in
administration by identifying proactive measures for further potential in all aspects in the assigned projects.
This position requires a combination of business acumen, organization savvy, networking capabilities and expertise in
certain technical areas.

What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
Formal Project Management training or certification preferred (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, Lean) Training in regulated environments (ISO 13485, MDR/FDA fundamentals) is an advantage.
10+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably within manufacturing or regulated industries.
End-to-end project management experience in a manufacturing or regulated industry environment with proven experience managing cross-functional, multi-site projects with senior stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with schedule, cost, risk, financial and stakeholder management.
Experience working in global / matrix organisations with indirect reporting lines.
Strong ability to drive execution and resolve issues in complex, fast-moving operations.
Familiarity with PMO tools, portfolio reporting, or governance frameworks.
Experience with manufacturing transfers, NPI, or productivity / cost-improvement programs.
Preferably those who has the exposure to medical devices or regulated environments (ISO, MDR, FDA).
