Qualifications

Manage a project implementation team and contractors to ensure products are constructed according to the required specifications, quality standards, project timeline, and budget constraints.

Role Summary

This roleis responsible foroverseeing the execution phase of projects, ensuringoperational efficiency, cost control, andtimelydeliverywithout compromising quality and safety. This role requires ahands-on approachin coordinating on-site activities, managing contractors,achieving scheduled Stage Billings,and ensuring compliance withdesign specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. The role also involvesproactive risk mitigation, problem-solving, and effective stakeholder communicationto drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Implementdetailed project execution plans to ensure adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality benchmarks.

• Monitordaily progress and milestones,identifyingany potential deviations from the project schedule.

• Coordinate withProject Planning & Development (PPD)to ensure design feasibility and constructability.

2. Site Coordination & Contractor Management

• Supervise and manageon-site construction activities, ensuring work is executed in accordance with specifications and safety standards.

• Overseecontractors, suppliers, and specialist trades to ensure timely, high-quality performance.

• Verify progress claims and ensure contractor billings align with actual site progress.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

• Conductregular site inspectionsto ensure compliance withdesign, safety, and regulatory standards.

• Identifyand rectifyconstruction defects, material discrepancies, and workmanship issues.

• Ensure adherence toCIDB, OSHA, and local authority regulations.

4. Problem-Solving & Risk Management

• Identifypotential risksearly and implementmitigation strategiesto prevent project delays.

• Resolveon-site technical issues and disputesswiftly tomaintainwork progress.

• Ensure safety protocols are followed and that all team memberscomply withHSE guidelines.

5. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

• Providestructured progress updatesto senior management and relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure seamlesscollaboration between site teams, consultants, and project planners.

• Address concerns raised byauthorities, consultants, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals.

6. Resource & Budget Management

• Assistinbudget preparation, cost tracking, and value engineeringtooptimizeproject expenditures.

• Ensureefficient allocation of resources (manpower, materials, equipment) to prevent waste.

• Verifyprogress claims and variation ordersto ensure financial accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s Degreein Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Additionalcertifications inProject Management (PMP, PRINCE2), Construction Safety (CIDB, OSHA), or Quality Management (CIDB, QLASSIC)are an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum5 years of experienceinproject management, site supervision, and contractor coordinationwithin construction or property development.

• Hands-on experience managinghigh-rise, township, and industrial park developments.

• Proventrack recordofhandling on-site challenges and driving quality outcomes.
