Job summary

Delloyd Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a dynamic Manager to lead Production Engineering, driving productivity and Industry 4.0 excellence.

You will shape automation, lean processes and new tooling for plastic injection manufacturing, guiding a skilled team of Production Engineers. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in plastic injection, and a proven track record in lean methods and PLC-based automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience developing tools and jigs for plastic injection manufacturing.
• 10+ years in plastic injection manufacturing with best practices.
• Lean manufacturing and Industry 4.0 implementation experience.
• Ability to reduce manpower through process optimization and automation.
• Knowledge of PLC systems; programming is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI or robotics is desirable.
• Strong leadership of Production Engineers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Engineering team to develop tools/jigs for productivity.

Are you a dynamic and innovative leader with a passion for driving productivity and efficiency in manufacturing? We’re seeking a highly skilled Manager to lead our Production Engineering team and propel us towards Industry 4.0 excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, providing a solid foundation for Production Engineering
• Strong expertise in developing tools and jigs to enhance productivity in plastic injection manufacturing
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in plastic injection related manufacturing, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices
• Proven track record in lean manufacturing and a vision for leading the company towards Industry 4.0 implementation
• Ability to strategically reduce manpower through process optimization and automation, while increasing productivity and throughput
• Knowledge and experience in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, with programming skills considered an advantage
• Familiarity with AI (Artificial Intelligence) or previous experience in handling robots is highly desirable
• Excellent technical skills and the ability to effectively lead a team of Production Engineers
• Strong negotiation skills to request the right resources and solutions from suppliers, ensuring optimal production processes
