Job summary

Businesslist in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks a senior legal professional to lead legal, compliance and governance across multiple entities. You will provide strategic advice to management, units and boards, ensuring regulatory, corporate and listing compliance throughout a dynamic property-focused portfolio.

The role requires drafting and negotiating contracts, supporting acquisitions and due diligence, and developing robust compliance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
• 7-10 years of relevant legal/compliance experience.
• Good understanding of legal and compliance requirements in property.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents.
• Strong problem-solving to address complex regulatory challenges.
• Ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities
