Job summary

Hong Leong Investment Bank – Damansara, Selangor, invites applications for an IT Risk Management role. The candidate will assist in ensuring information assets are protected and manage compliance monitoring across security, data vulnerability, continuity and IT risk.

Requirements include a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or IT, at least 6 years in relevant banking sectors, and strong analytical, reporting and English communication skills. IT security certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or recognized professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in banking/stockbroking/fund management/insurance in product control or risk management.
• IT related certifications are a plus.
• Detail-oriented with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Good command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Perform compliance monitoring of information security, data vulnerability, business continuity and IT compliance risk.
• Identify defensive steps including firewalls, security software and data encryption.
• Perform IT Risk Assessment for IT projects to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Assist annual review of related policies.
• Prepare monthly IT risk reports and ad-hoc reports.
• Keep up to date on technology risk and security matters.
• Assist in IT Risk Management duties as assigned.

Perform compliance monitoring of communication security, data vulnerability, business continuity and IT compliance risk and identify defensive steps including firewalls, security software and data encryption.

Perform IT Risk Assessment for information technology projects to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Assist to conduct annual review on related policies.

Prepare monthly IT risk reports and ad-hoc reports.

Keep up to date on technology risk and security matters.

Assist in carrying out other IT Risk Management duties as assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements

Possess Bachelor Degree or recognized professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or any equivalent.

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in related industries such as banking, stockbroking, fund management, or insurance in product control or risk management domain.

Possess any IT related certifications will be a plus.

Detail-oriented, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).

Good command of spoken and written English.
