Job description

The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a global partnership to make palm oil sustainable.Today, the RSPO is a global, non-profit organisation with over 6,000 voluntary members across 104 countries and territories, representing every link in the supply chain: oil palm producers, palm oil processors and traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks and investors, environmental or nature conservation non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and social or developmental NGOs.

At RSPO, we believe that our success is built by the passion, dedication, skills, and expertise of our people. They are the ones who drive our organisation to new heights and guide us through the next phase of our development.

This role is built around three fundamental, ongoing responsibilities: reviewing RSPO’s end-to-end processes and systems to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement that strengthens member experience and internal efficiency and productivity and running the PMO function, providing the governance and tracking discipline needed to keep the organization’s strategic initiatives on course; and leading the change management needed to drive adoption of the systems and process improvements delivered, ensuring they translate into lasting impact.

Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, the role helps embed a disciplined, transparent way of managing change and progress, enabling RSPO to translate strategy into consistent, measurable outcomes as it continuously improves how it works. The specific initiatives this role leads will evolve as RSPO’s priorities evolve. The immediate priority is the reassessment, redesign and rebuild of RSPO’s Salesforce system, in support of the 3-Year Operating Plan’s target outcomes such as faster membership-to-certification timelines and improved member advocacy.

The location of this role is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
