Job summary

Base Maintenance Malaysia (BMM) in Subang seeks a Manager/Senior Manager, HR Business Partner to work closely with senior leaders, translate business needs into people solutions, and spend time in the business rather than the HR office.

This hands-on HRBP role will partner with operations, support manpower ramp-up, drive talent reviews, and help build a high-performance culture across technicians, engineers and managers in Malaysia''s aviation-focused maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Management or related discipline.
• Approximately 8–12 years of progressive HR experience; senior leadership exposure expected at Senior Manager level.
• Strong HR generalist or HR business partnering experience.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, talent management and Malaysian employment law.
• Proven ability to influence and advise managers and senior leaders.
• Strong judgement, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-growing, operationally demanding environment.

As BMM continues to grow its widebody aircraft maintenance operations and workforce, we are looking for an experienced HR professional who can work closely with business leaders, understand operational realities and translate business needs into effective people solutions.

This is a hands‑on HRBP role. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with senior leaders, frontline managers and employees, and should be willing to spend time in the business rather than operate only from the HR office.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Management or a related discipline.
• Approximately 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with stronger leadership and business-partnering experience expected at Senior Manager level.
• Strong experience in HR business partnering or a broad HR generalist role.
• Good knowledge of workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, talent management and Malaysian employment legislation.
• Proven ability to influence and advise managers and senior leaders.
• Strong judgement, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing and operationally demanding environment.
