Job summary

Prudential Services Asia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a senior Risk professional to coordinate enterprise, operational and non-financial risk governance across regions.

You will prepare risk reports, dashboards and committee papers for senior forums, and support incident and escalation processes with second-line review. The role requires 8+ years in risk management, strong knowledge of RCSA, governance reporting, and experience with Power BI and eGRC tools.

Qualifications

• Degree required in risk, finance, accounting, business or economics.
• At least 8 years of experience in operational risk, enterprise risk, internal controls or related fields.
• Experience with RCSA, incident and issue management, KRIs and governance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support operation of enterprise, operational and non-financial risk frameworks, standards and governance.
• Lead preparation and quality review of regional risk reports, dashboards and committee papers for senior forums.
• Coordinate governance reporting cycles (EMC, ERC, EIGP Risk Committee, CRCO).
• Manage RCSA activities and provide second-line challenge of risk assessments, controls and remediation.
• Conduct thematic reviews, control assessments and risk workshops.
• Review incident records and challenge event classification, impact, root cause and remediation.
• Analyze incident data to identify recurring themes and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with local ORM teams and risk owners across LBUs.
• Support PRISM and other risk tools; develop risk dashboards and analytics.

Job description

This role coordinates and supports the operation of enterprise, operational and non-financial risk management frameworks, standards and governance requirements. The position leads the coordination, preparation and quality review of regional risk reports, dashboards, committee papers and management information for senior governance forums, while serving as a subject matter resource for operational risk incident, issue and escalation processes.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate and support the operation of applicable enterprise, operational and non-financial risk management frameworks, standards and governance requirements

Lead the coordination, preparation and quality review of regional risk reports, dashboards, committee papers and management information for senior governance forums

Coordinate recurring governance reporting cycles, including EMC, ERC, EIGP Risk Committee, CRCO and Business Control Report submissions

Coordinate regional Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities and provide constructive second-line review and challenge of risk assessments, control evaluations and remediation plans

Conduct or support thematic reviews, control adequacy and effectiveness reviews, training sessions and risk workshops

Review incident records and provide challenge on event classification, impact assessment, root cause analysis, remediation and closure evidence

Analyse incident and issue data to identify recurring themes, emerging risks, control weaknesses and opportunities for preventive action

Serve as the HO ORM coordinator for assigned LBUs, maintaining effective engagement with local ORM teams, business risk owners and relevant functional stakeholders

Support the governance, effective use and continuous enhancement of eGRC system (PRISM) and other relevant enterprise risk management tools

Develop and enhance risk dashboards, management information and analytics using Power BI or other approved tools

About you

Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline

Typically at least 8 years of relevant experience in operational risk, enterprise risk, internal audit, compliance or another control function within asset management or financial services

Demonstrated experience in RCSA, incident and issue management, key risk indicators, governance reporting and second-line review and challenge

Good understanding of end-to-end investment management processes and associated operational and non-financial risks

Understanding of the Three Lines Model and the respective responsibilities of business management, risk and compliance functions, and independent assurance

Good working knowledge of regulations, regulatory guidance and industry standards relevant to financial services and asset management in Singapore and the markets supported by the role

Excellent written and spoken communication skills , including demonstrated experience in drafting clear, concise and high-quality risk governance reports, committee papers and executive summaries for senior stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach, sound judgement and the ability to work proactively as a self-starter

Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex deliverables across business units, functions or jurisdictions, while delivering high‑quality work within tight deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with IBM Open Pages or another eGRC platform, Power BI, data visualisation, automation or analytics is advantageous
