Job summary

Sime Darby Holdings Berhad in Malaysia seeks an experienced Tax Lead to manage corporate tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing across its operating units. You will review returns, provide advisory support on transactions and drive tax transformation initiatives.

You will lead audits, coordinate with internal stakeholders, deliver accurate tax data analytics and ensure compliance for a multi-entity group across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Degree/Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy or other related courses.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in tax data analytics, e-invoicing, and tax transformation initiatives.
• Experience in managing tax matters across multiple entities and jurisdictions within a large corporate group.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large corporate environment and/ or professional services firm
• Strong technical knowledge of Malaysian taxation, including corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and international tax matters
• Experience in managing tax audits, disputes, and stakeholder engagements
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Preferred Experience in tax data analytics, e-invoicing, and tax transformation initiatives
• Experience in managing tax matters across multiple entities and jurisdictions within a large corporate group
