Role Summary
The Manager, Finance is responsible for ensuring strong financial discipline across development projects and corporate operations, maintaining compliance with accounting and tax requirements, strengthening internal controls, and partnering with business stakeholders to improve financial performance and support sustainable business growth.

- Financial visibility: Management receives timely, accurate, and actionable financial information to support business and investment decisions.
- Budgetary discipline: Annual budgets and forecasts are effectively developed, monitored, and controlled, with significant variances identified and addressed promptly.
- Project profitability: Development projects are financially well monitored, with accurate revenue recognition, cost allocation, cash flow tracking, and profitability analysis.
- Cash flow optimisation: Adequate liquidity is maintained through effective management of collections, payments, working capital, and cash flow forecasts.
- Financial accuracy & compliance: Monthly accounts, management reports, financial statements, tax submissions, and statutory requirements are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and performance analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, track variances, and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance of development projects, including revenue recognition, cost allocation, and profitability analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management reports, financial statements, and statutory submissions.
- Oversee vendor payments, purchaser collections, and reconciliation processes to maintain financial accuracy and discipline.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks, mitigating financial and operational risks.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, addressing audit findings and strengthening financial processes and controls.
- Collaborate with project, sales, contract administration, and senior management teams to provide financial insights and support business growth.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, building strong capabilities in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of applicable accounting standards, taxation, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Experience Requirements
- Typically 8–12 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
- Experience in property development, construction, real estate, engineering, or other project-based industries is highly advantageous.
