Job summary

Tokio Marine Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced ERM leader to partner with functions across the company in identifying risks and delivering timely recommendations and support to business units.

You will act as the primary support to the Head of ERM in driving risk assessments, reporting and governance activities, ensuring timely identification, assessment and monitoring of key risks with actionable mitigation plans.

Job description

• Be a Business Partner to functions of the companyin identifying potential risks and providing timely recommendations and supportbusiness units to manage risks.
• Act as the primary support to the Head in drivingand ensuring the successful execution of all ERM initiatives, including riskassessments, reporting, and governance activities.
• Ensure timely identification, assessment,measurement and monitoring of key risks together with actionable mitigationplans.
• Collaborate closely with business units, seniormanagement, and other assurance functions to embed a strong risk culture andpromote risk-informed decision-making.
• Lead and manage the ERM team inthe effective execution of the Risk Management Initiatives. These include, butare not limited to Risk Assessments, Risk Monitoring, Business ContinuityManagement, Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process etc. Ensure that all initiatives are well-planned,executed efficiently, and completed in all material aspects.
• Engage in regular consultativediscussions with business units to identify, assess, and support the resolutionof potential risks and emerging issues, fostering a collaborative riskmanagement approach.
• Actively promote risk awarenessacross the organization by embedding risk considerations into businessprocesses and decision-making, and by supporting training and communicationefforts.
• Support the Head in maintaining an open and effective workingrelationship with relevant stakeholders.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by the Head/Senior Managers as and when necessary.
