Job summary

BIB Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated support professional to bolster the Broking division. You will handle routine inquiries, manage client expectations on servicing issues such as claims, quotations, and policy coverage, and help achieve new and renewal business targets set by management.

You will build rapport with clients, participate in referral programs to cross-sell and upsell, review client files, and ensure timely, accurate documentation for compliance.

• Understanding of current General Insurance Landscape.
• Proficient in IT/Computer knowledge.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cross functional initiatives effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support the Broking division with client inquiries and servicing issues.
• Handle routine inquiries and transactions; manage client expectations on claims, quotes, and policy coverage.
• Meet New and Renewal business targets set by management.
• Build rapport with clients to enable cross-sell and upsell via referrals.
• Review client files, assess cover scope, and check adequacy of existing covers.
• Ensure back-office documentation is timely, accurate, and compliant.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Job description

To provide effective support services to the Broking division.

Handling routine inquiries and transactions concerning clients and managing clients’ expectations related to servicing issues such as claims, quotations, policy coverage, etc.

To meet individual New and Renewal Business brokerage and organic growth business target set by management/KPI/Key Result Areas.

To build and maintain close rapport with clients and to work on referral program with customers to ensure effective cross sell and upsell activities or New Business activities.

To attend to all customer requests and concerns promptly and accurately, review client files regularly, analyse and identify scope of cover required and check adequacy of existing covers.

To monitor all documentation provided to back office are timely, accurate and complete and fulfil all the compliance and regulatory requirements.

To perform any other duties as instructed by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum academic qualification with Diploma/Degree/AMII or equivalent

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience and demonstrated knowledge in engineering, construction, and/or related fields.

Strong understanding and excellent knowledge of Engineering Insurance and the General Insurance landscape.
