Job summary

TARA FOUNDATION in Malaysia invites applications for a Mathematics Teacher to help primary students bridge gaps and meet the national syllabus. You will design engaging lessons, monitor progress, and collaborate with parents to support learner growth.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Education, has at least two years of teaching experience, and can communicate in English, Tamil, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Education or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in primary and/or secondary education
• Proficient in English, Tamil, and Bahasa Malaysia
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive and supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Able to use educational technology and software to create engaging, interactive learning experiences

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students
• Provide individualized instruction to meet students’ learning needs
• Monitor and assess students’ progress with regular feedback to students and parents
• Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the center
