Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Utility) in Malaysia to execute preventive and breakdown maintenance on plant utility and firefighting systems. You will support equipment reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement while ensuring safety and food safety standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Hands-on experience in utility systems, mechanical maintenance, pumps, valves, piping, or firefighting systems.
Experience performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to ensure reliability of plant utility, mechanical, and facility equipment.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, service, test, and replace components as required.
Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
Support plant start-up, shutdown, and commissioning activities.
Contribute to root cause analysis, maintenance planning, and performance targets.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
