Job summary

ams OSRAM Group in Malaysia seeks a skilled maintenance technician to provide troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair support for test systems and wafer probing equipment. You will work in a fast-paced, international environment within our electronics manufacturing campus.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering, at least three years' experience in manufacturing or test & inspection, and willingness to rotate shifts. Fluent English and Bahasa Melayu are essential for daily communications.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or test & inspection.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu in both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair support for test systems and wafer probing equipment.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and follow standard maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintenance materials and monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of daily, monthly, and yearly maintenance activities and update maintenance logs, checklists, and reports in a timely manner.
• Assist Process/Test Engineers in equipment evaluation, setup, and qualification activities and support experiments, data collection, and validation during process improvement initiatives.

Your new responsibilities
