Job summary

ams OSRAM Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Front EndTest) to provide technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair support for test systems and wafer probing equipment.

The role requires identifying root causes, performing preventive maintenance, and managing spare parts inventories. A Diploma in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience are required, with fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu and willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or test & inspection engineering is needed.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair support for test systems and wafer probing equipment.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and follow standard maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintenance materials and monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of daily, monthly, and yearly maintenance activities and update maintenance logs, checklists, and reports in a timely manner.
• Assist Process/Test Engineers in equipment evaluation, setup, and qualification activities and support experiments, data collection, and validation during process improvement initiatives.
