Job summary

SHJ Group of Companies in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment. You will troubleshoot breakdowns, monitor performance, and improve reliability while ensuring safety and adherence to IATF 16949 and customer requirements.

Collaborate with production teams to keep manufacturing operations smooth and continuously drive downtime reduction and equipment upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to the maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine and equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and monitor machine conditions to ensure equipment reliability.
• Perform basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs as required.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety requirements and established procedures.
• Support production teams in maintaining smooth and continuous manufacturing operations.
• Record maintenance activities, breakdowns, repairs, and replacement of parts accurately.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools and maintenance equipment are kept in good condition.
• Support continuous improvement activities related to machine reliability and downtime reduction.
• Comply with IATF 16949, company procedures, and applicable customer requirements.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and improve equipment reliability.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety requirements.
• Coordinate with production teams to support smooth manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer standards.
