Job summary

CapitaLand Retail Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to perform a variety of M&E and building maintenance tasks within the mall environment. You will handle electrical tasks, attend tenants’ requests, and ensure all systems operate reliably and safely.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years’ experience, and preference for AO Chargeman certification. Willingness to work long hours and shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• AO Chargeman Certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance of M&E systems or building maintenance.
• Technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and electrical functions for M&E systems and building facilities.
• Attend tenants' requests and troubleshoot electrical trips or breakdowns.
• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of office tools, machines and equipment.
• Monitor contractors during routine servicing and assist with minor repairs.
• Perform monthly checks on fire extinguishers and fire-hose reels; assist car park operations as needed.
