Job summary

GAYA CENTRE HOTEL is seeking a maintenance role focused on M&E systems and general upkeep. You will inspect, repair and maintain HVAC, elevators, PABX, generators, boilers and networks, and supervise contractor work to ensure hotel standards.

You will also perform electrical, painting, carpentry and landscaping tasks, keep accurate meter readings, manage equipment inventories, and uphold safety and hygiene in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and repairing M&E equipment and facilities such as HVAC, lifts, PABX, generators, boilers, and computer networks.
• Supervising and/or inspecting the works of contractors to ensure they meet hotel requirements, reporting defects, and following up on rectifications.
• Carrying out general maintenance tasks including electrical, painting, carpentry and landscaping.
• Updating and recording daily or monthly meter readings.
• Maintaining inventory records for equipment and supplies.
• Ensuring the workplace remains safe, clean and tidy at all times.
• Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.

Job description

• Your duties may include but is not limited to inspecting and repairing all of its M&E equipment and facilities (such as but not limited to the HVAC, lifts, PABX, generators, boilers, and computer networks).
• You may also be required to supervise and/or inspect the works of contractors to ensure they meet the Hotel’s requirements and reporting to the Hotel for any defects and/or deviance found, as well as following up on rectifications requested by the Hotel.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including electrical, painting, carpentry and landscaping.
• Update and record daily or monthly meter readings.
• Maintaining the inventory records for equipments and supplies.
• Ensures that the workplace remains safe, clean and tidy.
• Maintains standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
