Job summary

Rapid Growth Technology Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain molding equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.

You will inspect machines, perform preventative maintenance, order replacement parts, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, assist in tooling changes, and coordinate with contractors while upholding ISO 9001 standards and a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate in engineering or related field.
• Experience in Plastic Injection Molding with ISO 9001 is preferred.
• Self-initiative and strong technical skills are required.
• Ability to read and write simple English and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all molding equipment and facilities for safe, efficient operation.
• Inspect machinery for defects and perform preventative maintenance.
• Order replacement parts and fluids through supervisors.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Assist in tooling and mold changes as production schedule requires.
• Execute lock out/tag out procedures on equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the injection molding area.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with contractors on repairs.

Job description

Repair and maintain all molding equipment and facilities expediently to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment required.

Inspect all machinery for defects and potential problem in accordance with the preventative maintenance program, repairing and replacing parts as required.

Order appropriate replacement parts and fluids through the Production Snr. Executive/Production Executive and Molding Manager.

Determine reasons for equipment failures and advise Production Snr. Executive/Production Executive and Manager on corrective and preventive actions to eliminate future downtime.

Troubleshoot and repair all electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in the molding department.

Assist in tooling and mold changes as required by the production schedule.

Execute lock out/tag out procedures as required on all molding department equipment and facilities.

Maintain a high departmental standard of cleanliness and safety practices in the injection molding areas.

Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.

Made arrangement of repairs work/maintenance with outside contractors on quotation with leadtime and submit to superior.

Feedback to planner equipment breakdown and repair leadtime.

Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".

Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.

Requirement :

Diploma/certificate/vocational in engineering or related fields. And/or

Experience of Plastic Injection Molding industry with ISO 9001

Experience as a Maintenance of Plastic Injection Molding Industry

Self-initiative and good command of technical skills.

Able to speak and write simple English

Computer knowledge in Excell, Word and Power Point
