Coherent is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Ipoh, Malaysia to lead maintenance and facilities activities, ensuring safe, reliable, and available production equipment and site infrastructure. You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance, improve equipment performance, and reduce unplanned downtime.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, facilities, or reliability in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and maintenance planning.
• Experience with CMMS/ERP is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for production equipment and facilities.
• Develop maintenance plans, schedules, procedures, and equipment reliability programs.
• Monitor equipment availability, downtime, maintenance cost, and work-order completion.
• Coordinate with Operations and Engineering to prioritize repairs and minimize production disruption.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for recurring equipment or facility issues.
• Manage maintenance resources, spare parts, contractors, and maintenance budgets.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in line with applicable procedures and requirements.
• Support equipment installation, upgrades, commissioning, and facility improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate equipment, maintenance, and facility records.
• Develop technicians and supervisors through training, coaching, and performance management.

Job Summary

• Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management or ERP systems is an advantage.
