Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, especially with industrial motors, MCCs, PLCs and control panels.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to read electrical schematics and perform root-cause analysis.
- Experience with PLC programming, control panel assembly and instrumentation.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capability coordinating external vendors and contractors.
- Familiarity with compliance-driven environments and strict safety protocols.
- Willingness to travel locally or internationally for equipment commissioning, installations, or technical support.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimise downtime.
- Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions under time pressure.
- Lead and mentor technicians and contractors to ensure safety and quality.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve process efficiency through electrical upgrades and automation enhancements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS and generate reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and regulatory requirements.

Join Guan Chong Cocoa Manufacturer Sdn Bhd' as a full-time Maintenance Executive based in Pasir Gudang Johor.
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary repairs on key electrical systems—including motors, switchgears, MCCs, PLCs, and instrumentation—supporting powder production lines.
Ensure minimal equipment downtime and optimal performance through proactive maintenance planning.
Swiftly diagnose electrical faults and breakdowns; identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions to minimize disruption to operations.
Provide technical guidance and hands-on solutions in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
Lead and mentor a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring all electrical and instrumentation work is executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance with SOPs.
Monitor work progress and provide support in task planning and execution.
Work closely with production teams to improve process efficiency and stability through electrical upgrades, automation enhancements, and system optimizations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and energy-saving projects.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment breakdowns, corrective actions, and parts usage through the CMMS system.
Generate maintenance reports and assist in audits and compliance checks.
Ensure strict adherence to all workplace safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Proactively identify and mitigate electrical hazards, contributing to a safe working environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, particularly with industrial motors, MCCs, PLCs, and control panels—preferably in a manufacturing or powder processing environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and perform root‑cause analysis.
Experience with PLC programming, control panel assembly, and instrumentation is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capability, including coordination of external vendors and contractors.
Familiarity with compliance-driven environments and strict safety protocols.
Willingness to travel locally or internationally for equipment commissioning, installations, or technical support.
