White Heron Pharmaceutical Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment on-site in Kepong. The role operates Monday to Saturday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a salary range of MYR 3,000–MYR 4,300 per month and offers training and development opportunities.

The candidate should have an Engineering Diploma, at least 3 years hands-on machinery experience, and knowledge of encapsulation, tableting or sachet filling systems, plus familiarity with PLCs or related

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain production machinery.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operations.
• Assist with machine repairs and major maintenance activities.
• Keep accurate service records of repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with installation, operation and process qualification activities.
• Review and update SOPs and work instructions related to machine operations.
• Provide training for operators and Production team members.
• Support daily production alongside the Production Manager.

Maintenance Engineer (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Our client "White Heron Pharmaceutical Sdn Bhd" is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Pharmaceutical / Manufacturing) to join their team!

This full-time, on-site opportunity in Kepong offers a hands-on role supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. The working schedule is Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a salary of MYR 3,000–MYR 4,300 per month and opportunities for training and professional development.

What you'll be doing?

• Set up and maintain machinery: Set up, troubleshoot, assemble and dismantle production machinery.
• Conduct preventive maintenance: Carry out or monitor preventive maintenance activities to support reliable operations.
• Support machinery repairs: Assist with machine repairs and major maintenance activities.
• Maintain service records: Keep accurate records of machine repairs and maintenance work.
• Support equipment validation: Assist with installation, operation and process qualification activities.
• Update operating documents: Review and update SOPs and work instructions related to machine operations and maintenance.
• Develop team capability: Conduct operations, maintenance and refresher training for operators and Production team members.
• Support daily production: Assist the Production Manager with daily operational activities.

Who are they looking for?

• Engineering qualification: A Diploma in any Engineering field is required.
• Hands-on experience: At least three years of practical experience in machinery operation is required.
• Relevant equipment knowledge: Familiarity with maintaining encapsulation, tableting or sachet filling machines, dehumidifiers, air compressors or PLC systems will be important.
• Language proficiency: English and Malay proficiency is required to support communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Mandarin capability: Mandarin proficiency would be an added advantage for broader workplace communication.
• Work rights: Candidates must be Malaysian citizens or permanent residents.
• On-site availability: Candidates should be comfortable working in Kepong from Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
