Job summary

Grandwork Interior Sdn Bhd in Puchong, Selangor, is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee preservation, maintenance, and upgrading of essential MEP systems within client buildings. You will lead a dedicated MEP team, coordinate with client and project drafter teams, and ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

The role requires deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems, plus strong leadership and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing MEP systems within commercial buildings, focusing on preservation, maintenance, or renovation of high-profile properties.
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems.
• Experience in managing large-scale projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting quality standards.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors in preservation of complex MEP systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and manage risks related to MEP systems during the preservation process.
• Ensure all MEP systems comply with local codes, safety regulations, and Apple's global standards for operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all MEP-related work within the preservation project.

Job Requirement

Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to find solutions to technical and operational challenges efficiently

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other project management tools relevant to MEP management

Professional certifications such as PMP or PE are an advantage
