Job summary

Upper Odyssey Technology Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking detail oriented production staff to join our precision metal stamping team. You will operate automatic surface grinding machines to achieve high-precision flat surfaces on hardened tool metal parts.

Candidates with at least 2 years hands-on experience in Surface Grinding or Profile Grinding and the ability to work within ±0.003 mm tolerance are encouraged to apply. SPM/SKM or Diploma in Mechanical are acceptable educational backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in surface grinding or profile grinding.
• Must be comfortable working within tight tolerance (±0.003 mm).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

We specialized in high-precision tool metal products and are looking for talents who are experienced in Surface Grinding and Profile Grinding. Candidates with strong expertise in at least ONE of these areas are highly encouraged to apply.

You will be assigned to a specific role based on your primary technical skill set:

• Operate automatic surface grinding machines to achieve high-precision flat surfaces and finishes on hardened tool metal parts.
• Independently select ad dress grinding wheels based on material hardness and surface finish requirements.
• Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, troubleshooting and routine maintenance to ensure smooth production flow.
• In charge of the metal stamping production output.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and compliant working environment is also part of the job.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Possess at least minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in either Surface Grinding and/ or Profile Grinding.
• Precision Capability: Must be comfortable and proven at working within tight tolerance. (+/- 0.003 mm)
• Education: SPM, SKM, Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent.
• Others: Strong attention to details, Strong sense of responsibility towards work quality, quality conscious and good discipline.
