PrimaBaguz, a Malaysian halal meat products manufacturer, seeks a maintenance professional to manage electrical systems for safe, efficient operation at the Klang facility.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and supervising technical staff. A Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in maintenance within the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of electrical systems would be an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Maintain electrical systems for safe and efficient operation.
• Perform daily checklist inspections and monitoring across Plant utilities (Air Compressor, Hot water system, Cooling Tower, LV and power factor readings, Ammonia plant and AHU, water levels).
• Carry out handyman tasks (repair door frames/doors, toilet flushing systems) and assist production requirements.
• Machine maintenance support including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist Chargeman with electrical troubleshooting and ensure fire protection and emergency procedures compliance.

Position Overview

Maintain electrical systems for safe and efficient operation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance of electrical equipment, supervision of technical staff, and compliance with safety regulations and standards. Respond to emergencies and coordinate with utility providers and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

1.Perform daily checklist inspections and monitoring.

• Air Compressor
• Hot water system
• Cooling Tower
• LV and power factor readings.
• Ammonia plant and AHU
• Domestic water and RC tank levels.

2.Carry out handyman tasks.

• Repair door frames and doors.
• Repair toilet flushing systems.
• Assist with production requirements as needed.

3.Machine Maintenance Support

• Assist with machine troubleshooting and repairs.

4.Assist the Chargemen with electrical troubleshooting

• Replace capacitors, faulty lights and blower fans.
• Maintain cleanliness in utility rooms and perform 5S activities.
• Understand the fire protection system and emergencyprocedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Education

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

• At least 3 years of working experience in maintenance within the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of electrical systems would be an added advantage.
