Job summary

Halton Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Assistant Production Technician (Machine) to support our Subang Jaya-based production operations.

You will assist in machine operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Execute production orders according to schedules and work instructions.
• Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery.
• Monitor machine performance for efficiency and output.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and operational issues.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance machine efficiency.
• Maintain 6S and good housekeeping practices.
• Maintain tooling and equipment used in the production line.
• Develop and maintain TPM checklists and SOPs.
• Report breakdowns promptly and suggest preventive actions.
• Follow safety requirements, procedures and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
