Job summary

PACK ASIA SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Machine Technician to join our manufacturing team in Malaysia. You will set up, operate, and maintain production machinery to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical issues, and recording maintenance logs. Experience with paper cup/bowl forming machines is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years in machine maintenance or technician roles in manufacturing.
• Preferred: experience operating or maintaining paper cup/bowl packaging machines.
• Technical: strong mechanical troubleshooting; basic pneumatic or electrical understanding.
• Attributes: proactive, detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Machine Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation & Setup: Set up, adjust, and calibrate production machines for daily operations.

Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or operational issues quickly to minimise machine downtime.

Quality Assurance: Monitor production line output to ensure products meet required quality and dimensional standards.

Record Keeping: Document maintenance logs, repairs, and spare parts usage.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in machine maintenance or technician roles within a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualification: Prior experience operating or maintaining paper cup, paper bowl, or paper packaging forming machines is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills: Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and basic understanding of pneumatic or electrical systems.

Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Competitive basic salary (RM 2,500 – RM 3,500)
